Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech - Ait Benhaddou - Draa Valley - Zagora

Stop At: Zagora Desert Camp, Imarighine Erouha، Zagora 47900, Morocco
We will meet you in Marrakech and drive over The High Atlas Mountains. the dramatic Tizi-N’Tichka pass, beautiful landscapes and Berber villages, before reaching Kasbah ‘ Ait Benhaddou ‘, you have the opportunity to visit the famous and the largest Kasbah in Morocco, ” Ait Benhaddou ”, the UNESCO World Heritage Site, where several famous movies such as Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven and the Mummy have been shot. After the visit we will have lunch, not far from the Kasbah, We will also visit the streets, shops, and stores along a way. Arrive in Zagora in the evening and spend the night in a Desert Camp.

Day 2: Zagoura - Tamegroute - M'Hamid - Erg Chigaga

Stop At: Atmospher Erg Chigaga, M'Hamid El Ghizlane, M'Hamid Morocco
After breakfast, we’ll have enough time to visit the surroundings of Zagora and we’ll have a look at the Jewish quarter in Amzerou and the huge palm groves Afterwards, we’ll continue our trip towards the desert to M’Hamid where you’ll have Lunch. Along the way we will stop at the pottery and old Kasbah in Tamegroute, before arriving the end of the Draa valley, there, we are able to visit an old Coran library, and we take a break to watch the library, and historical books.
We continue directly to the desert, crossing dunes and Draa Valley, complete our journey to M’Hamid in the middle of the sand dunes, Before sunset, you will Hop on a camel and walk at the desert pace along the dunes. At night the traditional dinner is served, then you can hit the desert drums and dance about the fire and watching the stars and spending a night in your tent.

Day 3: Erg Chigaga - Iriqui -Foum Zguid - Taznakht - Ait Benhaddou

Stop At: Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou, Douar Ait Ben Haddou, Ait Ben Haddou 45000 Morocco
After the sunrise in desert Erg Chigaga and enjoy the breakfast amid the sand dunes, we will continue our trip to the village of Foum Zguid, crossing the the old Paris-Dakar road and cross the Iriqui lake, while you can enjoy the desert scenery and watching the mountains, you can also discover some of the desert animals such as snakes, deer and other wild animals living in the desert , The food will be in the village of Taznakht, this small Berber village that enjoys its beautiful Berber traditions, after lunch, we head to Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, where dinner will be in Riad.

Day 4: Ait Benhaddou - Marrakech

Stop At: Medina of Marrakesh, Marrakech 40000 Morocco
After breakfast, you will have the opportunity to visit the largest Kasbah in Morocco ”Kasbah Ait Benhaddou” which is recognized by UNESCO as a world patrimony for having been a setting for many films such as The Mummy and Gladiator. Lawrence of Arabia, Black Hawk Down. After enjoying the visit of the Kasbah we continue our journey through the Atlas Mountains, over the Tizi n’Tichka pass with scenic views along the road and make a stop at the Kasbah ”Telouet” before heading back to Marrakech. In the evening you’ll be dropped of in your Riad/Hotel in Marrakech.
