Full Day Tour to Ouarzazate

Early set-off from Marrakech to Ouarzazate, the great South Gate. We cross the picturesque mountainous chain of High Atlas by Tizin-Tichka pass (the highest mountain road in NORTH AFRICA). We Arrive at Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah, it is site of world heritage by UNESCO, most of the houses inside the fort are built of clay and it is surrounded by a long wall to protect the fort from high stream of the river. The site serves as a backdrop for films, such as Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, Game of Thrones and Tea in the Sahara. We walk in the houses of the village, then we Continue towards Ouarzazate by road which runs along the river of salt nearly 26 km, between the mountains of the High Atlas and the Anti-Atlas, we enjoy a view of clay villages and semi deserted mountains. We arrive at the Kasbah of Taourirte in the middle of Ouarzazate city. Which used to be the formal residence of the Mayor ‘Pasha’ of Marrakesh. On the way back. After a short tour inside the Kasbah, we will go on to Zagora through the valleys of desert like Agdez.

In the second day we will do Zagora city tour where we see Timbuctou sign, Tamegroute library and the valley, then we go on to Desert sand dune to spend a nigh under a sky full of stars. To arrive there, you ride a camel for 2 hours in the hub desert and expect to spend a night in a berber desert camp.

In the third day we will drive back to Marrakech.
