Private Day Tour from Marrakech To Ourika Valley and Atlas Mountain

You will be picked up from your hotel around 9am to begin the journey to Ourika Valley. Enjoy a drive through the countryside villages typical of the High Atlas region. There will be short stops along the way to take in the beautiful panoramic views as well as visits to selected sites such as an enchanting organic garden and a traditional Berber house.

Finally you will arrive in a village located in a canyon underneath the High Atlas Mountains at the end of the Ourika Valley. Here you can expect to enjoy an opportunity to get away from the noise of Marrakech for a relaxing day. The best time to visit the valley is in early March when the cherry and almond trees are in bloom. As the temperature cools, it is also a perfect place to go in the summer to beat the heat.

While lunch and refreshments are not included, take time to enjoy one of many cafes along the uphill walk to the Setti Fatma cascades where you can expect to find a local specialty for lunch. You will have an opportunity to get a more in-depth look at the area and may even consider hiring a local guide at your own expense. Plan on returning to Marrakech to conclude your day around 5pm.
