About this activity
Day 1: Marrakech - high atlas - Kasbahs - Rose valley - Dades gorges

Departure at 7:45 from your Raid or Hotel in Marrakech direction South East to cross the high Atlas Mountains. After the Tizi n’Tichka pass, you leave the main road and take a side road to the village of Telouet to visit the Kasbah which was a former residence of the Glaoui family Residence.

The valley we are driving through was an important road for the caravans of traders. We continue along the stunningly beautiful road to Ait Ben Haddou where we have lunch. This is the most famous fortified Kasbah in Southern Morocco and is listed by UNESCO world heritage site. After lunch, we visit the Kasbah. This has been used as a backdrop for many Hollywood films. Then to Ouarzazate or African Hollywood as many actors call this small city.

Drive along the Valley of the Roses, then to Dades Valley by the road of 1000 kasbah to get to our hotel in Dades Gorge.

After lunch, we cross many Berber villages to reach the Sahara desert of Erg Chebbi for a wonderful experience. You will benefit from a splendid sunset, a sky full of stars and sunrise on the tops of the dunes near of the camp where you will spend the night in Berber tents.
