Desert SUP Experience from Marrakech including authentic lunch

We went into this experience looking for something outside the box to do. We could not be happier with our choice. We were met by Mark, the owner of the company, and his younger son. He gave us some necessary gear which included some cool waterproof shoes and we were off on the lake. We explored the lake as Mark gave us a detailed history overview of the area. We paddled on and continued to talk about Moroccan traditions and values. After about 30 minutes we stopped on a peninsula and met a friendly local for some tea, bread and delicious homemade olive oil. After our break, we continued on and visited another area of land across the river. Mark taught us about the local trees and the different fruits that they produce. We then paddled back to our starting point, passing by a heard of sheep with a beautiful view of the Atlas mountains in the background. After our SUP stand up paddle-board experience we enjoyed a delicious meal as mark continued to tell stories. It was an unforgettable experience and worth every dollar we spent. If you're looking for something to do in Morocco, I HIGHLY recommend going on this excursion. Can't thank Mark and his family enough. Cheers.
