Full-day private tour of Toulon, the Var and the Magic of St Tropez
You will enjoy a full-day excursion in Toulon and the coastline of the Var to St Tropez mesmerizing quaint beauty - in search of the serene side to the village of sea, sun and millionaire boats.
Toulon will be the start of your adventure along the coast to St Tropez. The Var's shoreline is magnetic. Strings of stunning islands, secluded monasteries, a landscape dotted with villages, make the region one of the most varied and enticing in Provence.
On route to St Trop', you will stop at beaches of Ramatuelle made famous by celebrities who come each summer. You will also discover Pampelonne beach - a great place to sit on your towel, watch the chic crowd swagger through. You will find there full of discrete beach clubs and restaurants.
You will then arrive at the famous village of St Tropez, its iconic harbor port and visit the historic fishing quarter - La Ponche near the old Port. You will then discover the Citadelle, built in 1602 to defend the coast that dominates & overlooks St Tropez. The views here are fantastic. You will have also time for shopping and absorb the St Trop' ambiance.
The final stop will be at Sénéquier, the famous place where Sartre wrote parts of "Les Chemins de la Liberté" at this portside cafe – popular with boaties and tourists alike.
You will then return inland via the villages of La Garde Freinet, Les Cannet des Maures and Brignoles before caome back to Aix-en-Provence or Marseille.
