Day 1:
Day 1
Maun-Khama Rhino Sanctuary
After breakfast, check out at the hotel then and proceeds with the tour from Maun to Khama Rhino Sanctuary. On the way to Khama Rhino, stopover at Khumaga village where you will stretch your legs and have drinks. Khama Rhino Sanctuary is a community based wildlife project in Botswana, next to Serowe village where the first president of Botswana the late Sir Seretse Khama was born. The Sanctuary assist in saving the vanishing rhinoceros.
Upon arrival you will be welcomed by a well-trained and very knowledgeable ranger, who will guide you around the sanctuary in 4*4 safari game viewer vehicle (with picnic lunch). The activity lasts for only 2 hours.
The Sanctuary is home to other wildlife such as: zebra, blue wildebeest, giraffe, eland, springbok, impala, gemsbok, kudu, steenbok, duiker, red hartebeest, leopard, ostrich, African wild cat, caracal, small spotted genet, and black-backed jackal, bat eared fox, brown hyena.
