7-DAY OKAVANGO DELTA, KHWAI AND CHOBE WILDLIFE SAFARI

Itinerary

Day 1: Maun-Okavango Delta

Stop At: Okavango Delta, Maun, Ngamiland East, North-West District
In the morning our guide will pick you up from the hotel/ Maun Airport then lead you to Mokoro Station which is about 45 minutes’ drive. Transfer by motor boat or 4X4 transfer to Mokoro Station where you will be met by a Professional Guide and a Polar, a short briefing about your trip will be conducted before boarding your Mokoro and travel along the channels of the Okavango Delta to camp on one of the many Islands of the Delta, before reaching your camping destination, you would have spent some hours seeing the beauty and vastness of the Delta.
Upon the arrival staff set up the camp while your chef is preparing lunch for before afternoon game walk or Mokoro cruise, note that you will decide with your professional whether you do game walk or Mokoro cruise.
Return back to the camp where dinner is served.
Duration: 12 hours

Meals included:
• Lunch: Light afternoon lunch- Cold meats, salad bread and fruit and 3 liters of bottled water per person per day.
• Dinner: Dinner- 2 courses, either soup and a main or a main desert and a couple of glasses of wine for dinner will be supplied.
Accommodation included: Walk-in 3m x 3m tents with comfortable bedrolls on stretchers.
Shared toilet tent and shower tent. Towel supplied.


Day 2: Okavango Delta

Stop At: Okavango Delta, Maun, Ngamiland East, North-West District
Wake up early, around 6:30 for coffee/tea, cereal and rusks. Depart on a 4 hour early morning game walk. Return at around 10am for a hearty brunch. Relax in camp, or ask your guides to take you for a swim, before afternoon Mokoro cruise to experience the other parts of Okavango Delta.
Return back to the camp where dinner is served.

Brunch- Eggs, bacon, beans, fried tomato, sausage toast.

• Lunch: Light afternoon lunch- Cold meats, salad bread and fruit and 3 liters of bottled water per person per day.
• Dinner: Dinner- 2 courses, either soup and a main or a main desert and a couple of glasses of wine for dinner will be supplied.
Accommodation included: Walk-in 3m x 3m tents with comfortable bedrolls on stretchers.

Day 3: Okavango Delta-Khwai Concession

Stop At: Khwai Concession, Moremi Game Reserve, Okavango Delta, North-West District

and many other animals Upon your arrival the campsite will be set by staff and direct you to your tents, and then you will be allowed to rest while before game drive activity in Khwai one of the best place to spot lion, leopard
Return to the campsite where dinner is served, and dinner you go for night game drive in Khwai, and then return to the camp to spend a night.

Day 4: Khwai Concession-Savute

Stop At: Savute Reserve, Chobe National Park, North-West District
Wake up early morning, have a quick shower and have breakfast then while staff is breaking down then camp immediately after breakfast you venture through Khwai to Savuti to spend one night.
Upon arrival, the staff will set up the camp, then direct you to your camping tents. After a short while, you will have lunch and then go for a siesta. After siesta, you can have a tea and resume your afternoon game drive within the park.
Drive back to the camp after your afternoon game drive, enjoy afresh shower and then dinner will be served. The time for bed will be determined by the last guest.

Day 5: Savute

Stop At: Savute Reserve, Chobe National Park, North-West District
Wake up early morning, have a quick shower and have breakfast then resume your game drive within the park. Come back to the camp. After a short while you will have lunch and then go for a siesta. After siesta, you can have a tea and resume your afternoon game drive within the park. Drive back to the camp after your afternoon game drive, enjoy a fresh shower and then dinner will be served.

Day 6: Savute-Chobe

Stop At: Chobe National Park, Kasane, Chobe National Park, North-West District
Wake up early morning, have a quick shower and have breakfast then while staff is breaking down then camp immediately after breakfast you venture through Savuti to Chobe National Park to spend one night.
Upon arrival, the staff will set up the camp, and then direct you to your camping tents. After a short while, you will have lunch and then go for a siesta. After siesta, you can have a tea and resume your afternoon game drive within the park.
Drive back to the camp after your afternoon game drive, enjoy afresh shower and then dinner will be served. The time for bed will be determined by the last guest.

Day 7: Chobe

Pass By: Chobe National Park, Kasane, Chobe National Park, North-West District
Morning after breakfast you board on a game viewer vehicle for morning games drives on day 7 along the Chobe water front finishing off with a 3 hours Boat cruise on the Chobe River. The safari ends after the Boat cruise.

• Breakfast: Early breakfast- Cereals, rusks tea and coffee.
Brunch- Eggs, bacon, beans, fried tomato, sausage and toast.

• Lunch: Light afternoon lunch- Cold meats, salad bread and fruit.
