Moremi, Khwai, Savuti and Chobe safari

12 days
About this activity
This safari starts in Maun on the 11th November we suggest you overnight in Maun after flying in the day before. We collect you at 10am and we drive 2 hours to Moremi Game Reserve where we check in and let air out of our tyres! We then drive to Xini Lagoon where we set up camp whilst you have your lunch. We have two nights and will explore this lovely area with it’s beautiful lagoons and Palm Tree landscape.
After 2 nights our camp is packed up whilst we are out on our early game drive and we will move out of Moremi and into the adjacent Khwai Concession area. In addition to our normal game drives, in this area we can drive off road and get out of the vehicle at the guides discretion and do night drives. The Khwai River is beautiful and attracts many animals at this time of the year.
On the 15th November we drive further North with our camp and stay at a stunning site next to the flowing channel at Savuti, for a further 3 nights. There should be predators galore at Savuti at this time of the year and the Channel and Marsh will be attracting 1,000’s of animals and birds. We are setting up our camp in full view of the river and our rest period will be a photographers dream!
On the 18th November we again pack up our camp and move further North to the Chobe River where 1,000’s of Elephant and Buffalo will be utilising the Floodplain for the dwindling nutritious grasses that grow there. We will have a 3 hour boat cruise on the Chobe that may well be the highlight of your trip! Our camp is only a few minutes from the river and the sunset with the sun setting over the Chobe Floodplain will be memorable and we will have 3 chances at it!!
The Safari finishes in Kasane the next morning, the 21st November 2015 – we can take you to the airport or to the Zimbabwe Border if you are transferring to Victoria Falls.
