4 days fascinating jungle area in Tangkahan - North Sumatra.
Day 1. Airport Kuala Namu – Medan (1 – 1,5 hours driving). Arrive in Kualanamu airport with flight … at … (please let us know your flight number and arrival time). We will pick you up from the airport and bring you to hotel Deli River for an overnight stay, nicely situated in the countryside outside Medan. In Hotel Deli River you can rejuvenate and rest after your long journey and take a dip in the infinity pool looking over the Deli River.
Day 2. Medan – Tangkahan (5 hours driving).
In the morning depart to Tangkahan. Tangkahan is famous for its elephant safaris and wonderful jungle scenery.The peaceful jungle retreat is located along the Kuala Buluh River next to the dense rainforest. You will cross the hanging bridge to reach your lodge. You will go for a river walk and then tube down stream to a beautiful waterfall. You can have a very nice swim in the unspoiled jungle river, sit on a small beach full off butterflies and take a shower under a jungle waterfall. 2 overnight stays in Mega Inn, Linea resort, Jungle lodge or similar accommodation (simple accommodation).
Day 3. Tangkahan – enjoy jungle atmosphere.Today you can spend your time in nature and fascinating jungle area. Hikers can take exciting jungle trips here (optional). However walkers must be fit and have suitable, large profile shoes. After finishing the jungle trekking program, you can do your own program such as swimming in the river or visit the local village. In the afternoon you can see the elephants bath in the river. The elephants clean them self before back to camp after daily activity.
Day 4. Tangkahan – airport Kuala Namu (6 hours driving)
Today we will transfer you to the airport to catch your flight to next destination. End of our services. We can reverse the above itinerary according to your flight schedule. Please inform us about this in your booking.
