Welcome to Bukit Lawang, the ideal place to start your jungle adventure in Sumatra! At Bukit Lawang Tour we offer jungle treks suitable for everyone to make sure you will have an unforgettable experience.
This a great way to explore the Gunung Leuser National Park by foot. You will be walking through the jungle with your guide and get the chance to encounter the rare wildlife living here, especially the orangutan. You will be hiking around 5-6 hours. Our guide will explain you everything about the animals, plants and the jungle life. After a few hours we stop for lunch and some fresh fruit before we continue our journey. You have the option to go back to village on foot or by tubing the river, just discuss it with your guide.
