Day 1: Arrival & Welcome Dinner

Pass By: Parque Lleras, Carrera 37a 9 9A Zona Rosa, Poblado District, Medellin 050021 Colombia
When you land in Medellin, your driver will be waiting for you at the airport, who will take you on a 50-minute ride through a beautiful mountain pass and 1,000 feet down to the trendy, popular neighborhood of El Poblado.

That’s where you’ll find the luxury hotel where you’ll be staying.You’ll be close to Parque Lleras, the one spot in the city where foreigners and locals mix on a daily basis. You’ll also be near the best restaurants, boutique shops, and cafés the city has to offer.

That evening, after you’ve gotten settled, we’ll take the group to a popular local restaurant for a welcome dinner.

Day 2: Community OUTing

Stop At: Plaza Botero, Medellin Colombia
As you walk through the streets of Medellin’s downtown area, you’ll witness how architecture and public projects were effectively used to drive Medellin’s transformation from the most dangerous city in the world to one of the most innovative cities in the world. You’ll visit the brilliant Parque de las Luces & Parque Berrio/Plaza Botero, and as you move on, you’ll have the opportunity to browse traditional handicrafts and souvenirs at a local market.

Day 3: CookingOUT with Chef Esteban

Stop At: Plaza Minorista José María Villa, Cl. 55 #57-80, Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia
Today, you’ll learn how to cook like a Paisa. You’ll head out with an authentic Paisa chef (a member of Medellin’s LGBT community) to visit one of the city’s picturesque and bustling local markets. There you will interact with the vendors selling exotic fruits, crisp vegetable and fresh meats, choosing the ingredients that you will cook with.

As you zig-zag through the crowded maze of this principal market where families and smalls stores shop for quality produce, you’ll get to taste a wide variety of foods from various regions throughout Colombia

Day 4: Flower Festival LGBT Celebration

Stop At: Eco Hotel Terrabela., Corregimiento Santa Elena Sector El Recreo Via Paisandu, Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia
n the afternoon, the group will be headed to Santa Elena, the center of the region’s flower production, to join an LGBT-themed Feria de las Flores party. There will be music, great food, and flowers galore. You’ll be greeted with a welcome drink, engage in a cultural silletera experience, enjoy a traditional lunch, and have full access to the party itself.

The party will feature two dancefloors, a fully-stocked bar, and a barbecue.

Day 5: Day of Leisure & NightOUT

Stop At: Bar Chiquita, Cra. 37 #10-37, Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia
Just one of the stops on your NightOUT on the town with local gay guides who have the inside scoop on all the hot spots.

You’ll have VIP access to the best parties and events without having to wait in line. Throughout the night our hosts will shower you with free drinks to keep the party going.

At the end of the guided tour, you’ll have the option to ride back with the group to the hotel.

Day 6: OUTDoors Adventure on a Coffee Farm

Pass By: Parque de Sabaneta, Carrera 43, Sabaneta 055450 Colombia
After you’ve had some time to enjoy breakfast at the hotel, you’ll head out with the group for a cultural experience on an authentic working coffee farm 1.5 hours from Medellin. You’ll pass through Antioquia’s gorgeous green landscape on your way to the farm. At the coffee farm you’ll learn the entire process of making coffee from the plant to the cup and you’ll get to know the daily life of Colombian coffee cooperatives who still produce coffee in a traditional and fair way.

Day 7: Flower Festival Parade with VIP Seating

Stop At: Festival of The Flowers, Medellin Colombia
Today is the culmination of the Feria de las Flores, and you’ll be sitting right in the middle of the action.

After you’ve enjoyed breakfast at the hotel, we’ll take you and the group to private stands along the route of the Grand Parade of Silleteros.

This is the main event of the Flower Festival, with traditional dancing, marching bands and spectacular displays of flowers that farmers carry on their backs for miles. The silleteros, who come from generations of flower farming families, compete for prizes based on their flower displays.

You’ll have access to VIP seating so you can witness the magic of Medellin’s flower festival march by. It’s truly an amazing site to see. After the parade, we’ll take you back to the hotel where you can rest, relax, and enjoy the rest of your afternoon.

Day 8: Departure

Pass By: José María Córdova International Airport, Rionegro, Antioquia, Colombia
On your final day in Colombia, after you’ve had breakfast and checked out of the hotel, we’ll take the group to the international airport in Medellin with plenty of time to board your international flight home.
