Day 2: Echuca - Murray River

PS Emmylou departs selected Monday's throughout the year from Riverboat Dock at 12 noon. Boarding is 30 minutes prior.

MONDAY

This afternoon a light lunch is served as you begin to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of the river. As the sun starts to set

over the river listen to the river birds evening chorus, watch for kangaroos and other species of animals as the stars begin to appear.

Day 3: Murray River Cruising

TUESDAY

This morning PS Emmylou continues it’s journey down river towards Torrumbarry Weir. Here youcan visit the Interpretive Centre learning about the Murray Darling Basin, the Weir and lock system which dates back to 1923. We then depart for our half day tour visiting Arbuthnot Redgum Sawmills before we arrive at Restdown Winery. Enjoy a guided wetlands walking trail of early Aboriginal significance followed by a gourmet lunch platter of local produce with complementary wine tastings. The tour concludes with a visit to Womboota Artisan Pottery & Wines.

Day 4: Murray River Cruising

WEDNESDAY

This morning PS Emmylou departs up river towards our Layfield Mooring. Here we depart on a half day excursion travelling to the small town of Barmah, departing on a Eco Cruise with expert guide, where you can get up close to Australian nature and wildlife.

We then visit Morrisons Riverview Winery, 2-course lunch with wine tastings. Tonight, enjoy a gourmet Australian BBQ at our Grand

Riverside dining table with an entrée of delicious free range Pacdon Park UK small goods. After dinner enjoy some star gazing

around the campfire.

Day 5: Murray River Cruising

THURSDAY

This morning we cruise past the imposing Echuca Wharf and under the Echuca Bridge dating back to 1878. This afternoon join your

fellow passengers for a presentation of fine local Produce from the Perricoota Region including tasting the range of the new Echuca

Gin Distillery. Tonight, enjoy our farewell dinner before mooring overnight at Horseshoe Lagoon.

Day 6: Echuca / Melbourne

Melbourne is via Bendigo for coffee before the journey continues to Melbourne Airport or CBD drop offs.
