DAY 1 (L) - Melbourne to Great Ocean Road
Depart Melbourne and travel through the surfing town of Torquay for morning tea by the beach. Begin our journey along the beautiful Great Ocean Road, enjoying the stunning scenery of the famous coastline. A short stop along lets you do some koala spotting and listen to the abundant birdlife before we break for Lunch (included) in Apollo bay. Next we stop off at the stunning Great Otway National Park, enjoy a guided walk through this ancient rainforest whilst admiring some of the world’s tallest trees. Travel to the amazing 12 Apostles, before heading to admire Loch Ard Gorge, where you will learn all about the history of this famous shipwreck spot before passing through the township of Port Campbell and making our way to the Grampians National Park. Staying overnight in the Grampians in the township of Halls Gap.
DAY 2: (B) - Grampians National Park to Melbourne
Wake up to see the amazing views and kangaroos! Grampians National Park, one of Victoria’s most popular holiday destinations is an area rich in Aboriginal culture set in a beautiful and rugged ancient landscape. Embark on a walk in the National Park and take in some of the breathtaking views at Boroka and Reed’s Lookouts. Next making your way to Mackenzie Falls (or Silverband Falls) where we hike to view these stunning falls. After an amazing 2 days exploring the rugged coastline and mountain ranges, we make our way back to Melbourne early in the evening.
