Stop At: Hiking Habit, Melbourne, Victoria

You will be driven for one hour to Grant's Picnic Ground in the Dandenong Ranges National Park. From there, the guide will lead you on a 7 kilometre loop walk through lush mountain ash temperate rainforest. The walk takes approximately 2 hours, walking on undulating gravel trails. We take plenty of breaks to look for wallabies, wombats and echidnas and to listen for the intriguing mimicking call of the Superb Lyrebird or the laughing kookaburra. No food is provided on this tour and a moderate level of fitness is advised. Return transport to Melbourne CBD included.
