Great Ocean Road Reverse Itinerary Tour

You see everything and more on this tour! Jack was an amazing tour guide and would recommend anyone who is visiting Melbourne to take this tour! The views are specular and Jack was a great/safe driver!

We really enjoyed the trip. Despite the bad weather, the trip was very interesting and pleasant due to our driver and guide Jack. We met new people from all over the world. The guide , Rio was great and we had such a good trip. We encountered koala, kangaroos and many exotic birds. 12 apostle tour was unforgettable experience

Great but It should be a better guide. We could not hear all the explanations of our guide because he spoke without microphone and when the van was running we couldn't hear anything from him. We had a very good guide in Sydney during our day trip to The Blue Mountains which gave us explanations during the whole way to the destination about Australia (education, immigration, culture,...)

Overall okay. May have been the people on the bus that were kind of quiet. Saw what I wanted and it was a good day. A lot of driving.Our guide was Michael who wasn't bad.

We enjoyed this tour the most as it was in a minivan, hence there was only a small group and it was not rushed. Our guide, Lindsey, was even more delightful as he was comical and entertaining throughout the day. Despite it being a long drive, he was so energetic. We really enjoyed the company and would like to thank Lindsey for making everything perfect!

The stops were fantastic! And the driver Jack has been wonderful! Definitely 10 out of 10! A must see!

First time to Melbourne. booked a trip with hit the roads to great ocean road. Leanne ia a well knowledgeable tour guide and took care of every members she travelled with. Professional and dedicated tour guide. Definitely will book again

When we booked, my wife and I didn't realize this tour was in a rickety 13-seat van driven by a slightly egotistical and slightly unbearable 67-year-old named Matt (birthday he mentioned: August 1952). The van had basically no suspension. I bounced in my seat and caught air at least 15 times. The tour description said 13 hours but our driver sped through the curvy roads at unreasonable speeds (who tf floors it into curves?!) and got us home in 12 hours but made a few people sick in the process. The van's radio would also turn on randomly during the ride and play static... Anyways, if you enjoy 5 hours of turbulence on an airplane, and you absolutely have to see these rocks in person at a budget price, then this tour on this van (license plate ending in '31K') is for you! If I could make my decision over again, and if I really cared enough about seeing these sights comfortably, I would have paid double the money for a proper luxury tour bus. You have hereby been warned. :) No clue why so many people like this tour! If you buy this package and then you see that your van license plate ends in '31K' either get ready for a very bumpy ride or just skip the tour!!!

I really like the concept of reverse itinerary tour It was indeed a great experience for us The hightlight of the trip our tour guide, Lindsay ,who is very knowledgeable and explains everything we need to know throughout the way I am greatful for this whole expeeience and would love to travel with him in the future

Nice view and nice weather. We have an awesome guide cum driver (Leanne)! She's knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Makes our trip enjoyable and nice. Highly recommended trip to take.

It was a wonderful trip to great ocean road. The driver was so lovely person. We had seen the Coala and the kangaroos but we couldn't touch them unfortunately.

We had an amazing time with my nephew. Our guide Matthew gave us one tour of a lifetime with his knowledge, patience and sense of humour.

The trip was so good. Orlando was a very nice guide. The tour itself was fantastic. We saw a whale on the way back to Melbourne!

Loved the experience. Orlando was a great guide. The weather was spectacular, but on a rainy day it would an entirely different experience. It is blustery by the coast and can be quite cool (bring layers). The only downside is the size of the van. It is quite a long day, and the seats are a bit cramped and do not recline. But, saw koalas and kangaroos in the wild! Awesome!

The tour was fantastic. We did not see a big coach bus until lunchtime. The reverse itinerary was well planned. The tour guide, Gui, was brilliant. He had lots of knowledge and was funny as well. He spoke to all in the group. The scenery was amazing. I would recommend this tour to anyone. Great value for money. There was plenty of times for breaks as well.

We got started nice and early in the morning. The weather was beautiful for a day long tour and the smaller bus suited us. We stopped along the way to break the journey at Colac a country town. When we arrived at the Twelve Apostles the views were absolutely beautiful and we beat the crowds with starting here first. We continued onto Razorback, Loch Ard Gorge, the Arch and London Bridge all spectacular. We stopped for lunch at Port Campbell before continuing to Cape Otway and the Rainforest. We stopping to see Koalas at Kenneth River then onto Lorne Beach and our brilliant tour guide Orlando even found us some Kangaroos at Anglasea. Then dropped us at our starting point. It was a truly awesome experience thanks to Orlando and Hit the Road Tours.

Even though this is a very long day, doing the reverse was much better! The coastline was less crowded and the light off the structures were beautiful. Matt our driver was fun and gave us enough time to see everything. Just an FYI - if you are prone to motion sickness, sit up front.

The tour was fabulous. Our driver, Jack was great. I received several notifications prior to the trip verifying time and place of pickup. The trip left on time and made plenty of stops for restrooms and coffee. Stopped at a cute breakfast spot and a great little town for lunch. The 12 Apostles was really breathtaking. The weather was not fabulous, we were dodging raindrops from time to time but that didn't take away from the beauty. Each stop was well planned and our guide was a superb driver. I would recommend this trip. Good value for a 13 hour day!

Very informative and entertaining guide (Jack),he made us feel very welcome,there was plenty of time at each stop for photographs and an appreciation for the scenery. Excellent choice to do the tour in reverse as we arrived at the apostles early and therefore was not so crowded.We even had time for extra stops for photographs along the Great Ocean Rd during the drive back. Jack was very friendly and a great tour guide.Very well worth doing the tour,thoroughly enjoyed the experience and managed to see such a lot in the one day. Would definitely book with them again.

My daughters went on a day trip with their uncle visiting from abroad. Everybody came back very relaxed and happy. Best day of the holiday for my 13 year old and my brother. My 8 y old found the trip a bit long :). Beautiful trip. Highly recommend. They enjoyed the fact that it was a smell bus, that allowed them to avoid crowds at stops.

I had a great experience choosing this tour, the view is amazing and we stopped and a lot of beautiful places. The tour guide told us some nice story about the places and his super courteous. Me and my partner took a lot of photos together thanks to Orlando! I highly recommend this tour for couples and friends!

This was a great unhurried tour. The small tour size is ideal as all passengers received attention from the tour guide driver. Commentary was informative and entertaining and delivered with enthusiasm. This is a popular tour and we only encountoured 2 other tour buses by going in reverse. The tour is well worth doing with this company..

It was a great trip. We really enjoyed ourselves Orlando our guide was very good shared information regarding the sites, information regards options available for eateries when we stopped for lunch. So we could benefit from the experience of others. We had time enough to spend at the locations and enjoy the beauty. Being a small group was an added benefit.
