The renowned Coonawarra wine region is situated only 60km from Mount Gambier and is host to numerous cellar doors, where you can indulge in award winning wine tastings on this full day tour. Your tour departs from Mount Gambier, and the first stop is Father Woods Park in Coonawarra, with its spectacular sculptures carved from pine tree trunks. After the park, it's time to visit the wineries!
There are up to four winery stops during this great day out, and may include Rymills, Penley Estate, Brands Laira and Katnook Estate wineries. A ploughman's lunch in included and will keep you fuelled between winery stops! Along the way, your guide will teach you about the local history and famous Terra Rossa soil profile that is unique to this beautiful region.
