About this activity
Your Mornington Peninsula adventure begins when your friendly and knowledgeable adventure tour guide picks you up from your inner city accommodation. Spend the next hour and a bit getting friendly with your host and fellow TripFitters until you find yourselves at the majestic cliffs of Cape Schanck. Located on the rugged southern side of the peninsula, Cape Schanck offers some of the best coastal scenery in Australia. Hike through bushland to a deserted beach, keeping an eye out for kangaroos, wallabies and echidnas along the way.
From the water’s edge to the highest point on the peninsula, our next stop is Arthurs Seat. Get ready for an adrenaline rush as we hop onto our bikes and head off-road to take on the mountain, trail by trail. The course is mostly downhill (we start at the top and finish at the bottom) so don't worry if you're not super fit but you do need to be comfortable on a bike.
After we refuel with lunch, we’ll head down the coast to Mornington. Aboard a kayak or atop a stand-up paddleboard, the quiet and tranquil beaches beckon us out to play. If you're lucky you might spot a dolphin or two - we see them at least a couple of times a week. Not everyone is up for water activities so this is an optional part of the day and attracts and additional $15 fee if you choose to participate. If you're not up for getting wet, we can point you to the nearest cafe or bar instead.
Note: we cater to all fitness levels.

This is one of the highlights of my 2 month Australia visit. Rich was a fantastic host/tour guide. He picked me up early in the morning, and was super friendly straight away. He even provided snack bars and water as well. We drove to the hiking spot, which had some incredible views. Next so an incredible hide-out for Kangaroos. We got respectfully close to the Kangaroos. Followed by mountain biking, I'm a cyclist but it was my first time on a mountain bike. Downhill descents can scare me, but I was put at ease. There were more beautiful views. Rich gave great advice on how to handle the bike. I had a lot of fun on the tracks, building up from easy to medium. We then had lunch at a cracking fish and chip shop. Followed by kayaking, where I took on the challenge. Sometimes in the bay you can spot dolphins. And you get a lovely view of the Melbourne skyline. Rich even filmed me with a drone so I have some cracking footage to share with friends and family. If you have an adventurous spirit, this is most definitely the trip for you. I can't recommend this enough.
