Mornington Peninsula Trike Day Tour for Two from Melbourne

Visit Melbourne's glorious Mornington Peninsula with its history, views, vineyards and vitality. Take in the views of Melbourne's Port Phillip Bay and the Peninsula from atop Arthur’s Seat lookout - you can ride up on the trike or you can take the chairlift if you choose.

After a break for morning tea you then head to Cape Schanck where you can explore the rugged Cape by walking down to the beach from the headland, make a cairn out of rocks and even explore the lighthouse area. From there your local operator takes you to beautiful Sorrento - where you have lunch - before passing through Portsea as you travel to the historic Point Nepean National Park to spend several hours exploring the area. Here you are guided through the historic Quarantine Station on foot and you can discover the tales to be told of this area. You then catch a Shuttle Bus for a short journey to Fort Nepean - a beautiful coastal area in itself, and also historic as it's where the first artillery shot of the British Empire was fired in World War 1 and also Australia's first artillery shot of World War 2. Explore the Fort and learn of Victoria's fort system and rare lighthouses, and at the same time take in the panoramic views of the entrance to our Bay - one of the world's most dangerous harbour entrances - across The Rip to Point Lonsdale and Queenscliff and explore Point Nepean before heading back. 

And if all of that is not enough, you may have time to visit a winery or two, or a gourmet produce outlet of choice - there's lots to see and do!
