Phillip Island & Maru Koala and Animal Park full-day tour
Your Phillip Island adventure begins with early morning pickup from convenient pick-up points in an air-conditioned bus/coach.
Your first stop on your Phillip Island day trip is Maru Koala and Animal Park. Pat a koala, hand feed an albino kangaroo, walk with the dingoes, talk to the parrots and get wrapped up in a python, it's all made possible at Maru where you can really 'get in touch with wildlife'.
Continue your tour by crossing over the bridge to Phillip Island. At The Koala Conservation Centre, stroll through this eucalypt woodland and come ‘face-to-face’ with koalas in their natural habitat. The Koala Conservation Centre’s unique treetop boardwalks and close viewing areas allow visitors to see how truly amazing koalas are. Then we proceed to The Nobbies. At The Nobbies Centre located at Point Grant, on the western tip of Phillip Island. A network of boardwalks outside the centre overlooks Seal Rocks, The Nobbies, and The Blowhole.
As the sun begins to set, we head out to Summerland Beach and grab a spot on the boardwalk. Observe hundreds of little penguins come up to the shore, making their way across the beach to their homes in the sand dunes. See the world’s smallest penguin in its natural habitat from viewing stands and boardwalks. Enjoy interactive and educational displays in the visitor centre and the spectacular coastal scenery from the Penguin Parade. This experience is sure to be the highlight of your visit. When the parade is over we leave this enchanting island and enjoy a slow drive back towards Melbourne.
