About this activity
Itinerary

The Cordon del Plata Provincial Park it´s close to the city, 80km far and 2 hours trip. During these trip you are going to cross Cacheuta town, where the termas (hot springs) are, then we are going to cross the tunnel that join our way with potrerillos town. There we are going to make a stop to admire the lake and the dam.

Then, we continue driving to the mountain range, and finally we start with the hike. It´s going to be almost 7 kilometers with 900 meters ascent.

These program allows you to experience in one day the challenge of climbing 3 peaks, first Mt. Andresito, then Mt. Arenales and finally try to get the summit of Mt. Lomas Blancas (11975ft). You are going to admire the beauty of the Andes, the best views of the Cordon del Plata, and also views of the surrounding Potrerillos valley.

From the top of these mountains, you are going to see probably new objectives for future challenges, like Mt. San Bernardo, Adolfo Calle, Stepanek, Franke, Vallecitos or Mt. Plata, the highest peak of these mountaing range.

If you want to enjoy the Andes in one day in an excellent scenery and you don’t have so much time and experience this is the best option for you.
