The tour started out with a visit to Bodega Tempus Alba, a boutique winery in every sense. Our guide Amir (who took the English-speaking tour) was fantastic. He introduced the group to the philosophy underpinning the wineries approach to perfecting the grapes grown onsite. He was kind, sincere and most importantly knew what he was talking about. After leading our group through a tour of the winery and explaining the nuts and bolts of the wine making process, he stepped the group through four tastings. While some people on the tour knew almost nothing about wine, a few people knew some things about wine, and myself a bit more, Amir ensured everyone was comfortable and was happy to answer any questions. I purchased a bottle of their flagship wine Vero Malbec after I was offered a tasting (not included as part of the tour, but no charge to tour guests). This was a perfect way to start the day. Highly recommend Tempus Alba. The next stop was the olive oil factory. This was pleasant, informative and a welcome addition to the tour. The host was friendly and was happy to answer questions. The third stop was Bodega Luigi Bosca. The wines are ok, but nothing spectacular. Strangely during a set tasting our group was poured the sparkling white after trying three red wines. Classic mistake. There was also a white wine offered to begin with, don't know what type of wine it was as it wasn't offered to me, but it was offered to others in the group....weird! What was even weirder was I asked if they offer tastings on the Cabernet Franc which they did....but they don't sell it. Then I asked to try the Cabernet Bouchet, which they sell but don't offer tastings. To cap it off, I purchased a bottle of wine for approx. AUD$50 and they charged me twice. Basically, an average winery and/or staff that don't know what they’re doing. Disappointing after such as great experience at Tempus Alba. Lunch was a relaxing event, offering four courses with matching wines (including options for vegetarians). This was a nice way to finish the day and capped off what was all up an enjoyable day trip from Mendoza. The tour host Anita (Ana) was lovely, great fun and can speak multiple languages. I highly recommend the tour for people starting out with wine knowledge or those looking to learn a bit more.

This was one of the best tours I have ever taken. Our tour Guide Ana was excellent in explaining the places we would visit and did not rush us throughout the entire day. We visited 2 Bodega along with an olive oil factory. The wine tastings were very generous but most importantly the tours were extremely informative. I live close to the Napa Valley in California and I feel I learnt more on this trip then the tours I have taken before. To end the day we had a nice lunch in a lovely restaurant and the wine kept flowing. I highly recommend this tour.

A tour for wine lovers only! We visited 3 beautiful wineries and an olive oil factory and had ample tastings at each one. Lunch was served picnic style on the lovely grounds of the last winery. Our tour guide was terrific. Great day!

This was such a lovely wine tour. Two highlights: The first winery's tour was given by the owner herself. It was awesome to hear the passion and wine tasting was very well setup. Two other wine tour was just as lovely. The 2nd highlight was their lunch. The third winery had a large green space where they set up different areas for people to sit and enjoy gourmet lunch. Some where tables, but there were areas where you get to sit on the grass with full picnic setup! It was so cute and definitely a highlight. Con: You will likely be mixed with spanish speakers. As an american, I feel like I missed out on much of the narratives. They did make best attempt to do the tour in english and spanish, but inevitably they are better and lengthier with spanish.
