Paramillos Ghost City from Mendoza

Begin with the pick up from your centrally located Mendoza hotel around 7:30am.
Travel through the old route to Chile, visiting Villavicencio and Los Caracoles until you reach the Cross of Paramillos situated about 9,000 feet (3000 meters) above the sea level. Here, you will have the best view of the Andean Mountains, and on clear days, potentially panoramic views of the Aconcagua Hill.
Continue towards the Ghost City of Paramillos, where you will visit the ruins of a Jesuit mining town, known as Paramillos Mine and dating from the seventeenth century. Tour the ghost town and go for a small trek into the mines.
Around noon, lunch will be served, consisting of a traditional Argentinean Asado.
After enjoying a great lunch in the area, begin the trip back to Mendoza. Going by Route No. 7 will allow a visit to Potrerillos Valley before arriving in Mendoza.
