Itinerary

Stop At: Los 7 Cenotes, Merida Mexico

Your adventure begins at the starter meeting point, then we drive to Los 7 Cenotes San Gerónimo, located approximately a 1.5 hour from Merida. As soon as you arrive at Los 7 Cenotes ranch, you'll be welcomed by friendly staff with a hot cup of coffee and purified water. Then, you'll receive some information from your guide about the security measures, geological formations and get all the necessary equipment to start the adventure (bike, helmet, life jacket).

Ride your bike for about five minutes until you reach the semi-open Cenote called Mariposa Azul. Here, you can swim and even dare jump into the blue waters of this great sinkhole from different heights. The experience continues either walking for 10 minutes or riding your bike for three minutes towards the semi open Cenote Truck. Here, you also have a chance to swim into a little cave.

Grab your bike again and ride to the open Cenote Arco Iris, an enormous cenote where you can swim, jump and deligth the nature. We visit this cenote if the weather and the characteristics of the group allowed it.The next stop is the closed Cenote Virgen, where you can swim in complete darkness.

After this experience, you'll enjoy a traditional lunch (including appetizers, soup, a main course, dessert, and non-alcoholic beverages). Later, you'll visit the sacred Maya tree, the Ceiba, and learn more about the Maya legends.

You'll return to the main house and enjoy some coffee before heading back. This tour includes insurance and an English speaking guide throughout the adventure.

INCREDIBLE!!!!! Booking this tour as soon after the Christmas holiday as we did was filled with so many surprises. Our four kids 17, 15, 10, 8 were stunned. The love, respect, and responsibility that these folks exude is poured out of them and into us as visitors. These cenotes are well respected, cared for, and the area is just plain gorgeous. Cedar groves for re-forestation, traditional ceremonies performed, original buildings preserved. Just amazing. The guides were so willing to assist with anything from bike seats needing to be resized, to hungry 8 year olds, to holding camera gear so as not to get wet. Due to lack of transportation, I think this really keeps the regular tourists at bay. If you can meet them at their designated spot, do this adventure. Our kids will remember the leaps, the beauty, the utter peacefulness for the rest of their young lives. This holiday was a memory maker like no other. We, as parents, couldn't have done this anywhere else in the world. Sadly, no items to purchase for keepsakes. That, and no provided transportation, were our only 'regrets'. Otherwise, every penny spent was worth it all, and then some!

Of all we experienced over our 12 days in Merida, this was our favorite day of all! Best staff, food, Cenotes, landscape, small villages along the way, and outstanding grounds. A true Yucatan experience all in one day. Have only one whole day to spend, choose 7 Cenotes Ranch. You won't regret it!

This is a must!! The whole day was fantastic. The tour guides were knowledgeable and great fun. The lunch was one of our best meals in Mexico. And the Cenotes are absolutely breath taking! The 9 metre jump is actually 16 which was even better. I would 100 go again.

Beautiful cenotes, great guides and good traditional food. My only complaint is that transportation was not included and you have to pay an additional 60 dollars.
