One of the main places of interest, without a doubt, visit the Rosa Flamenco Sanctuary, in the Ria Celestun Biosphere, one of the largest reserves of species and interdependent systems, such as dunes, petenes, low jungle and 4 of the 10 types of the mangroves that exist in the American continent.

About 350 species of forest and water birds can be seen in the place, such as hummingbirds, white-fronted frigatebirds, herons, potatoes and his majesty the Meco, as it is said in Mayan to the pink flamingo.
