Hop on hop off Messina Bus Pass

Hop on one of the buses and discover the welcoming city of Messina, often called the "door of Sicily". The pass includes two different itineraries: the first line (red) starts from Piazza Duomo, the most important square in the city, where you can admire the Cathedral and the Bell Tower with its animated clock, considered the largest and most complex mechanical and astronomical clock in the world. The tour continues in via Garibaldi up to the Strait seafront and to the famous Promenade, and along the coast road while going back to the city. The various stops along the way allow you to easily get to Teatro Vittorio Emanuele, the lovely Villa Mazzini with the Municipal Aquarium and the Regional Museum which boasts works by Caravaggio, Antonello Da Messina and Girolamo Alibrandi. The second line (blue) allows you to reach the beautiful Sacrario di Cristo Re, built on a small hill on the ruins of the Castle of Matagrifone, where you can enjoy a unique panorama of the Strait.
