About this activity
Description:
After being picked-up from your accommodation in Mexico City, you will venture onward to the city of Cholula. During your journey you will have the opportunity to see a beautiful view of both the Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl volcanoes (if the weather allows it).
Once you arrive to the beautiful city of Cholula you will can climb the biggest pyramid in Latin America, as well as the Church of Our Lady of the Remedies which is located at the top of the pyramid. Following this, you will go to Tonanzintla Town to explore its indigenous church complete with an exquisite Indochristian style. Following this, you will continue with a visit to the center of Puebla, where you will first sit down at a restaurant to take dine. The restaurant offers a unique blend of authentic local cuisine and international fare, and you will be sure to find something to your liking.
Once you finish your lunch you will walk and admire particular highlights of the town such as the cathedral, the Chapel of the Rosary, beautiful streets, buildings of French and colonial styles and the traditional handicrafts of Talavera. At the conclusion of your tour you will be returned to Mexico City and dropped off to your accommodation.
