Vlad was an excellent guide, friendly, knowledgeable and a great conversationalist. I received a good primer and learned more than I expected about Mexico's complicated history and the controversial but respected artists who wanted to ensure the history was passed on through artistic expression. The tour is concentrated in the Centro Historico and takes you through government buildings which would be difficult to enter and tour on your own. I liked the small intimate group. Be prepared to be on your feet and bring water, wear a hat and sunscreen. Post-tour, Vlad was also kind to give me tips re: Centro Historico to exchange money and get a tasty, cheap lunch - Fonda S.R. was excellent!
