Day 1: Mexico City 

Stop At: Historic Center (Centro Historico), Mexico City, Central Mexico and Gulf Coast
Bienvenidos a la Ciudad de Mexico - the largest city in Latin America where ancient and modern coexist in harmony. The city is a world-class cultural hub that offers a huge variety of museums, galleries, and architectural gems, along with bustling nightlife and diverse gastronomic culture.
Arrive on Saturday or any other day before and take your time to explore this diverse city before meeting your group and tour leader on Saturday evening: optional welcome dinner & get-together in a local restaurant/bar/pub.

Day 2: Mexico City 

Stop At: Historic Center (Centro Historico), Mexico City, Central Mexico and Gulf Coast
Take the full day to explore the city by yourself or with your group, visit its numerous attractions, try local food and enjoy good vibes of this amazing city. Late in the evening take an overnight bus to Sombrerete, arriving there in the morning.
Duration: 14 hours

Accommodation included: Overnight bus to Sombrerete (Zacatecas).

Day 3: Sombrerete - Sierra de Órganos National Park

Stop At: Sierra de los Organos, Zacatecas, Central Mexico and Gulf Coast
After a traditional Zacatecas breakfast and tour around Sombrerete, we will go to explore Sierra de Órganos National Park - one of the greatest natural wonders of Mexico. Follow your adventurous spirit and have an unforgettable day among incredible natural wonders. In the evening enjoy the BBQ, games and informal get-together with the rest of the group. Stargazing & accommodation in eco-cabins.

Stop At: Sombrerete Centro
In the morning, arrive to Sombererete - a charming little town nearby the national park. Surrounded by hills, you will love Sombrerete’s streets and churches, such as the Santo Domingo Temple or the Candlemas Chapel. As you walk around this "Magical Town", you can enjoy its elegant Colonial architecture, which brings its intricate streets to life, interrupted only by squares and gardens that shine in the sunlight.

• Breakfast: Traditional Zacatecas breakfast upon arrival in Sombrerete.
• Dinner: BBQ at our accommodation in Sierra de Órganos National Park.
Accommodation included: Shared eco-cabins in Sierra de Órganos National Park.

Day 4: Sierra de Órganos National Park - Zacatecas

Stop At: Zacatecas Cathedral
After breakfast at our accommodation in the national park, we will go to Zacatecas, a colonial city declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its architecture, urban layout and the irregular alignment of its streets. After check-in to our accommodation, we will have a tour around the historic center and take a ride in a cable car, connecting the Cerro de la Bufa to the Cerro del Grillo that offers an unmatched view of the beautiful city.

Stop At: Teleferico, Zacatecas, Central Mexico and Gulf Coast
After check-in at our accommodation and an orientation walk around the historic center we will take a ride in a cable car connecting the Cerro de la Bufa to the Cerro del Grillo which offers an unmatched view of this beautiful city.
In the evening, opt to join an optional (not included) dinner & get-together with the group in a local restaurant/bar/pub.

Day 5: Zacatecas - La Quemada - Guadalajara

Stop At: La Quemada, Zacatecas, Central Mexico and Gulf Coast
In the morning, after breakfast and check-out from our accomodation in Zacatecas, go to La Quemada - the ruins of the ancient civilization that are a unique treasure full of secrets yet to be unveiled. Free yourself from skepticism and get lost in the labyrinthine walls of what, some claim, are the ruins of Chicomoztoc, the legendary Place of the Seven Caves that gave asylum to the Mexica on their journey from the mythical Aztlan in search of the promised land.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Guadalajara Cathedral, Guadalajara, Guadalajara Metropolitan Area
After optional lunch in La Quemada, continue to Guadalajara - one of the largest cities in Mexico and a cultural epicenter of the region. Explore the avenues and alleys of the historic center, stop in front of the Metropolitan Cathedral, which combines neoclassical, baroque and gothic styles. Appreciate how the traditional and cosmopolitan aspects of each era coexist in this tapatío pearl. Follow your tour leader and see top cultural and historic attractions of this beautiful city.
In the evening, opt to join an optional (not included) dinner & get-together with the group in a local restaurant/bar/pub.

Day 6: Guadalajara - Tequila - Sayulita

Stop At: Plaza Principal Tequila Jalisco, Tequila
In the morning, after breakfast and check-out from our accommodation in Guadalajara, go to Tequila - a place where a world-famous drink comes from. The volcano of Tequila extends its arms to embrace this colorful "Magical Town". It is a land of blue-gold that rises from the foot of the Río Grande Canyon and the landscape of agave crops that was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2006. There we will have an orientation walk around the town center, visit tequila factory (tequileria) and have an optional lunch in one of local restaurants.

Stop At: Casa Orendain, Tequila
Less well-known than Jose Cuervo, Orendain is a family-owned Tequila group that was founded in 1926. The company now produces 10 different brands of tequila, and has collected various awards at international events. The tour provides a close-up look at Casa Orendain’s production process, as well as an opportunity to sample freshly distilled tequila, cooked agave and a few aged tequila shots.

Stop At: Sayulita Farmers Market/Mercado del Pueblo, Sayulita, Pacific Coast
After Tequila, continue to Sayulita - a laid-back "Magic Town" on the Pacific coast that provides a breath of multiculturalism with an atmosphere similar of the sixties: peace & love, harmony with nature and a friendly & relaxed environment. Surfing is one of the main attractions of this fishing tradition town, to which fishing enthusiasts come from all around the world, as in a sacred date, with their surfboards on their backs, their golden skin and their passion for the sea waters.
In the evening, upon arrival and check-in at our accommodation, opt to join an orientation walk around the town, optional dinner & get-together with the group in a local restaurant/bar/pub.

Day 7: Sayulita

Stop At: Marietas Islands, Pacific Coast
Relax on the beach, surf or take on optional day tour to Islas Marietas, one of the most important wildlife sanctuaries in Mexico’s Pacific coast formed long ago by volcanic activity. Protected by UNESCO, the archipelago is two formations of uninhabited islands – long island and round island dominated by large caves and cliffs, that protects the coral reef, multicolored tropical fishes.
In the evening, opt to join an optional dinner & get-together with the group in a local restaurant/bar/pub.
Duration: 7 hours

Day 8: Sayulita - Mexico City

Stop At: Sayulita Farmers Market/Mercado del Pueblo, Sayulita, Pacific Coast
Being lazy or active, it's up to you. This is a free day so you can choose from a variety of activities: relax on the beach sipping a refreshing cocktail, surf, snorkel, help to release saved turtles in a local turtle camp, take a jungle hike, bikes and ride a horse on a secluded beach etc. In the evening join an optional farewell dinner & get-together in one of local bars/pubs before taking an overnight bus back to Mexico City.

Accommodation included: Overnight bus to Mexico City.

Day 9: Mexico City

Stop At: Historic Center (Centro Historico), Mexico City, Central Mexico and Gulf Coast
Morning arrival to Mexico City and optional transfer to the airport. If you decide to extend your vacations, we can always book for you extra nights or even take you on our next adventure.
