Stop At: Archaeological Zone of Xochicalco, Carretera Federal Xochicalco Tetlama, sin numero Xochicalco, Municipio de Miacatlan, Morelos, Cuernavaca 62605 Mexico

After hotel pickup, head to the pre-Columbian city of Xochicalco that in Nahuatl means “Place of flowers.” Developed between 650 and 900 AD its is currently on UNESCO World Heritage List and is the 4th most visited archeological zone in the country. Once there, discover its Temple of the Feathered Snake, Acropolis, Grand Pyramid, Observatory and other prominent constructions. After Xochicalco, we will continue to Taxco. Situated in the mountains, this beautiful colonial town is rich with old and new silver mines, has narrow picturesque streets and architecture that has not changed for the last couples of centuries. The town is also renowned for its UNESCO-nominated 200-year-old baroque-style church, the Santa Prisca Cathedral. After exploring these two wonderful places, you will be dropped off back at your hotel in Mexico City.
