Skip the Line: Museo Casa Estudio Diego Rivera y Frida Kahlo Ticket

This unique museum was designed by Juan O'Gorman, mutual friend of both Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo. Both painters lived here for six years, from 1934 to 1940 after living in the United States. 
Curiously, even if the couple lived together in this complex, each artist had their own house, included O'Gorman, who also lived there. This place was where Frida produced most of her most famous works. She lived here until 1941, when her father died and she returned to the blue house in Coyoacan.
The area which was formerly Rivera’s house, preserves his upstairs studio and his collection of Judas and skulls as well as his collection of pre-Hispanic art and Mexican crafts. He lived here until he died in 1957. 
In the case of Frida and O'Gorman's houses, both were emptied and are now devoted to temporary exhibits.
