Our tour starts at Tlatelolco, today the largest archaeological site in Mexico City that one was part of the capital of the Aztec empire. Here the largest market of that empire was, and here the conquest of the Aztecs was consummated. Right there is the Plaza of the Three Cultures where prehispanic, colonial past and present are spliced.
The city of Tlatelolco was once connected to the North by a large avenue leading to Tepeyac hill where the Aztecs worshiped Tonantzin, today better known as Our Lady of Guadalupe and it is precisely here where we will make our next stop.

Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico is not only a religious symbol, it is also a symbol of identity for Mexicans is no coincidence that the first president of the republic will be called Guadalupe Victoria. For all this the visit to the Basilica of Guadalupe is practically mandatory for believers and nonbelievers.

After we left the Basilica of Guadalupe in Mexico City to continue our journey to Teotihuacan, "the city of the gods" which is northeast of Mexico City. On the way we can let be surprised by the organized chaos because of the population explosion of this city and its surroundings.
Passing the urban area will reach the archaeological site of Teotihuacan, here amusingly we know about Teotihuacan history, its mysteries, its development, its grandeur, its importance and its fall; then we will have free to those who want to climb the Pyramid of the Sun, Moon and walk along the famous "Avenue of the Dead" time.
