About this activity
Your tour begins at 12:00 pm with the pick up at the meeting point in Mexico City, our experience is divided into 2 parts:
In the afternoon you can enjoy a guided tour of the UNESCO World Heritage site, we will visit the Pyramids of the Sun, the Moon, the mural painting and the iconic citadel. After this guided tour, continue the trip in the Magic Town of San Martín de las Pirámides, you will discover the origins of Mexican cuisine in a unique and delicious experience. You will eat authentic Mexican food visiting one of the best restaurants in Teotihuacán and a local obsidian workshop (we try pulque, tequila and liqueurs). Vegetarian options are available.
At night you will have to carry a spare battery as well as warm clothing since you will have a completely different view of Teotihuacán walking along the illuminated road of the dead, we will return to Mexico City on average at 10:30 pm to the meeting point.

Our guide Luis was EXTREMELY knowledgable about the history of the site and the cultural influences surrounding it. He is a treasure! The food portion of this tour could be a little more robust and adventurous, while it was good and had a surprise or twoant egg tacos!this felt more like a tacked-on meal requirement for the daylong excursion.
