About this activity
Meet your chef in a nice district in Mexico City ! He loves to cook and to show visitors his beautiful country. All his life is about food and Mexico's traditions. He will be happy to show and share his grandma's food, and the flavors and culture of Mexico.

You walk to the San Juan Market, a unique place where you can find some of the most brilliant colors in Mexico. After shopping for all the ingredients, you'll go just five blocks to his beautiful apartment in downtown Mexico City, where you'll learn to prepare traditional Mexican meals.

Enjoy this opportunity to appreciate the recipes of Mexican grandmother and learn from your chef experiences in Mexican kitchens. He will be happy to teach you how to cook lima soup—chicken and lime soup—and tacos de cochinita—tacos with marinated and roasted pulled pork.

You'll also learn to make Mexican beans and habanero salsa—it's spicy and delicious !
