Meet your guide at the entrance of Milan Cathedral, also known as the Duomo. The most exuberant example of Gothic architecture in Italy and the much-loved symbol of the city, Milan Cathedral’s spires, towers, buttresses and statues dominate Piazza del Duomo.
Reduce any waiting time with your prebooked ticket and enjoy a 1-hour guided tour of this Gothic masterpiece. Put on your audio earphones for easy and comfortable access to your live guide’s commentary about the history of the ancient city of Milan and its stunning Duomo, the seat of the Archbishop of Milan. The Gothic cathedral took nearly six centuries to complete, and is the fifth-largest cathedral in the world and the largest in Italy.
After an entertaining introduction, use the elevator to head up the steepest part of the cathedral to reach the first terrace, saving you 200 steps. Climb the last 50 steps to the highest terrace, and walk along the rooftop to admire the breathtaking skyline. Depending on the season, watch the sunset or see the lights come on in the city below. On a clear day, you can even see the Italian Alps.

So beautiful going up to the rooftop of the Duomo and seeing all the sights. The adorable and sassy young lady who gave the tour (forgot her name) was amazing. She had so much knowledge of the Duomo as well as the city, remembered everyone by where they were from, and cracked so many funny jokes and stories. It was enjoyable just listening to her speak great English with a cute Italian accent.

Quick tour of the outside and roof of the Duomo. Our guide was very good. She provided lots of details and information about the building and the people who were responsible for building it. Note that the tour does not include a ticket to go inside the cathedral itself.

V good tour and guide
Amazing tour - there's so many intricate details on the duomo which you wouldn't notice without a guide. The guide spoke really good English and made the experience really enjoyable. It was great to be able to use the skip the line queue to get up to the top in a lift as supposed to using the stairs.
