Board your speed train to La Spezia (approx: 3 hours). Meet your guide and, by a local train, reach our first stop: Monterosso, the largest of the five coastal villages. Located on hills cultivated with vines and olives, is famous for its amazing beach (the only extensive sand beach in the Cinque Terre), beautiful reefs and the sea’s crystal-clear waters. It is dominated by the ruins of the castle and characterized by typical narrow medieval streets with multi-coloured terraced houses. At the local market you’ll have the chance to taste some of the most delicious typical foods of the Ligurian Riviera. The next stop will be the small fishing village Vernazza, probably the most characteristic of the Cinque Terre, classified as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. There you’ll take a ferry that will give you the chance to admire Corniglia, located in the middle of the Cinque Terre and lays 100 meters above sea level. Arrive by boat to Manarola, built on a high rock, 70 metres above sea level, one of the most charming and romantic of the Cinque Terre villages. The tiny harbor features a boat ramp, picturesque colorful houses facing the sea, a tiny piazza with seafood restaurants and cafés. Afterwards, you’ll take the train to reach the last stop: Riomaggiore, the most southern village of the Cinque Terre. At the end of the tour board your speed train back to Milan.
