Walking through the streets of downtown, but not only, you can discover the history of a city that once had all that features that the emperor had ordered to make it to his height: from the “forum” to the thermal spas, from the palace of the emperor to circus, from the amphitheatre to the theatre, walls and doors.
Milan still retains some of these buildings or recall them through the names of streets or churches. The route will give you the opportunity to go to find these ancient places, finding out what they have become today, seeing how ancient walls supporting modern buildings and imaging the Mediolanum beauty as the poet Ausonius used to write.
Through images we will see how these places were in the time and explore the city looking for these traces. A fascinating journey that will allow you to discover an unusual Milan.

Our tour guide Massimo was knowledgeable about history and architecture from 500 B.C. to present. He was amazing! He made the tour a lot of fun, and we also learned so much about the history of the city. We saw many hidden gems, including ancient ruins, that we would never have found on our own.
