About this activity
Meet your guide by Teatro alla Scala in central Milan, and then set off on your workshop to explore the Italian art of perfumery. After a ten minutes walk you will arrive at our magnificent atelier in Brera District, where your workshop will start. Here you will take the first steps on the enthralling path into the perfume secrets. You will learn the very glorious past of one of Northern Italy most enchanting cities (beside Milan, of course): Venice, where culture and beauty still live together. Starting from the presentation of cosmetic history, you will see an extraordinary collection of perfume bottles, real jewels of ancient craftsmanship.
You will be aware – and will leave you in an awe too! – of the pure essence of the charming perfume world, which finds in Italy its very first thriving trade.
During the workshop you will create your own perfume, and you will take it home with you. The peculiar aroma of an élite experience is waiting for you in one of the most classy, intimate and posh context you will savour in the city of the Quadrilatero.

This was a lovely VIP experience. We were provided the history of perfume and were the only three in the beautiful perfume shop for this workshop. Time was spent explaining the different profiles of scents and their origin. When we were provided the opportunity to create our own personal scent, it was so unique and intriguing to see how scents are layered on one another. Our daughter (14 yr.) was ecstatic with her concoction as were we We also purchased other perfumes as the scents are so wonderful and unique that one could not get them in the US. We adore ouds from the Middle East as well and so this was definitely a treat to experience. Highly recommend this,..especially if you have a young fashionista teenage girl in your midst.
