About this activity
On this tour you will see the Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci which is in the refectory of the covent of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan, and was painted between 1494 and 1498. It represents the most important meal in the history of humanity and it captures the moment when Jesus said: "One of you will betray me". In the center, the face of Christ is of an immense serenity: the whole picture is built around it. Christ's dramatic words unleashes intense emotions that shake the soul of the apostles and we perceive those emotions in the variety of expressions on their face and in their gestures.
