On Sanday tour visit the Rocca Viscontea of Castell'Arquato considered one of the most important military complexes in Northern Italy. Located on the top of the hill, you can see its magnificent towers dominating the village and the Arda valley. Inside the Rocca, you will see models on medieval life and an exhibition of armour, which explain in particular the defensive systems and the siege techniques used over the centuries.

On Saturday visit Rivalta castle, a sumptuous stately residence surrounded by a magnificent park. Cited in historical documents as early as 1048, in the fourteenth century, it entered the domain of the Earls Conti Landi, which still retains its ownership.

Fully furnished, it houses the new Museum of Military Costume with an exhibition section dedicated to military uniforms from the Italian Unification to the Second World War.
