About this activity
Drive to our kayak base at Milford Sound's Deep Water Basin.
Make sure you're already wearing your swimwear / kayaking underwear underneath your clothes to make changing easier.
Before taking to the water, our kayak team will kit you out with all the necessary gear for your day including a wet-suit vest, life jacket and dry bag for your camera! After a short safety briefing you'll be ready to start your adventure.
All kayaks fit two people so grab your buddy or make a new friend and the team will help you get loaded up.
Your awesome guide will then help you explore this spectacular fiord, paddling towards Sinbad Gully and majestic Mitre Peak. We stop off on a secluded beach in Harrison Cove for a hot drink and a snack. This is a great time for lunch too so bring some food along to enjoy in the rain forest. If the afternoon breeze comes up we’ll raft up the kayaks and sail back together past Cascade Range and Bowen Falls.
We have a maximum of 8 passengers per guide so you're guaranteed an intimate trip with fascinating commentary.
