About this activity
After complimentary pickup from your Monaco hotel, head west to the Provençal town of Grasse, known as the world's perfume capital. Smell the fragrance of jasmine pervading the cobblestone streets and enjoy a guided visit of the traditional Fragonard perfumery, named after the famous Grasse-born painter Jean-Honoré Fragonard.
Continue to the charming medieval village of Valbonne and enjoy a leisurely stroll through the picturesque alleys, café terraces and handcraft shops. My daughter and I were staying in Monaco for a few days and booked this small-group tour to see a perfume factory and taste wine. This tour was AMAZING. Only 6 people total Our guide, Hedwig, was so very fantastic!!! She took us to a lavender field which was also loaded with beautiful butterflies! She was a wealth of information about every stop we made. She answered everyone's questions with a smile. She gave us excellent recommendations for lunch with the best view, and she She knew the roads well and took us through beautiful scenery and it was an absolutely lovely day!!! One of the BEST days on our whole trip! THANKS HEDWIG!!!
We were lucky to have Nicolas Kolesnikoff as our guide for the tour. His ability to work around the local traffic problems to ensure we got the maximum benefit for the tour was nothing short of brilliant! Every aspect of the tour was managed beyond our expectations and we enjoyed Nicolas' explanations of each of the visits on the tour. The scenery along the Nice coast is fantastic and were lucky the weather was good and Nicolas made sure we saw the best of the vista. Good tour and great guide.
