Stop At: Nine Miles, Jamaica

Nine Miles is a quaint village in the beautiful mountains of St. Ann. It was here, on the 6th of February 1945, the legendary "King of Reggae" was born and the very same place he was laid to rest. A tour of Nine Miles is a family affair as many of Bob's close relatives still live there. Once on the property, you are joined by Rastafarian guides who will share insights of the life of young Bob Marley and his musical career. You will observe a room that he slept in as a young child; when he was an adult he used the same room as a 'chill spot', whenever he visited. You visit a nearby Ethiopian Church where the Marley Mausoleum is located. Here you will see two tombs in the mausoleum, one where Bob is laid to rest with his guitar along with his half-brother, Anthony Booker. The second tomb is where their mom, Cedella Booker “Mamma Marley” is buried. Dance and sing along with the live reggae band during the tour of the village.

Stop At: Dunn's River Falls and Park, Ocho Rios Jamaica

Dunn’s River Falls is one of Jamaica’s most beloved natural attractions, known for its lush setting and for its roles in the Tom Cruise movie Cocktail and the James Bond movie Dr. No. Often referred to as a living phenomenon because it’s continuously rebuilt from sodium and calcium carbonate deposits in the river.
After you arrive, listen to a quick introduction from your guide, and then enjoy 2 hours of free time to experience the falls however you wish. Put on non-slip water shoes to climb up the 600-foot (180-meter) terraced falls, carefully walking up the ‘steps’ formed by the naturally chiseled rocks. Stop along the way to swim in one of the small pools that have formed on the different levels or natural lagoon at the bottom, and when you reach the top, you’ll be rewarded with a nice view. Or if you’d rather relax, just hang out on the deck located near the river to admire the falls.
