Monterey Laguna Seca One Day Formula Car Racing Program

Run by former Formula One World Championship driver Allen Berg, ABRS uses state-of-the-art race cars to provide exceptional programs at the iconic Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey CA. Whether you are starting a racing career, looking for a new adventure, honing your skills or seeking an unforgettable experience for your next corporate event, the Allen Berg Racing Schools team of professional instructors and proven curriculum will provide you with everything you need to be able to drive your race car to the limit.

During this one day program, you'll learn and apply all of the fundamentals and skills needed to control a very quick formula racecar. This program will give you sort of seat time that it takes to really understand and enjoy the kind of incredible feedback that a real carbon fiber, Formula One car provides its driver. The program starts at 7:00 am with an optional, 1-hour track walk led by Allen Berg where you will hear stories from a legendary driver and discover insights into the world or professional racing. This is followed by the morning classroom sessions where you will learn the fundamentals of driving and how to handle the high-tech feat of engineering you will find yourself in during the afternoon. More importantly, the expert, professional instructors will teach you how to stay safe while while going 0-60 in under 4 seconds and experiencing 2G forces while turning a corner.

After a break for lunch, you will spend the afternoon inside your own car. After learning the ropes with guided, hands on instruction, you will have time for open lapping and passing - the ONLY school in USA that offers open lapping on the first day. Each session includes GoPro cameras to capture the action and detailed data debriefing after using state-of-the-art MoTeC data systems to see, understand, and critique your driving just like the pros do. In this high-tech, highly-charged environment you'll be driving these open-wheeled racecars as fast as your capabilities will allow!
