About this activity
Experience a traditional tango show and enjoy an authentic Uruguayan dinner during a fun night out in Montevideo! Upon arrival at the venue, you'll be taken to your table, where you’ll try a variety of dinner and dessert dishes including barbequed meat and flan (shortbread cookies) filled with dulce de leche (creamy caramel), accompanied by wine, soda or juice.

During the performance, see exceptional dancers perform tango and other types of folklore dances including candombe, an African dance with complex choreography, and milonga, which is similar to the tango. The dining tables are set up near the performance stage, so you can enjoy your meal at your own pace while watching the show.

Food was good, the dancing, singing and music was fantastic, it was much enjoyed. I would recommend the dinner and tango show.

Food and wine was very average - probably the worst we ate in all of South America. The dancing and the shows were amazing, so it's worth to go and see for the, but maybe there are other options with better food?

Although there are better tango shows in Buenos Aires, this one was also interesting. The venue is in an out of the way neighborhood, but the place itself has its charms. The restaurant is atmospheric, and the waitstaff were very efficient and courteous. You will see a different form of tango here than in Buenos Aires that is more African-influenced and not as stiff and stylized. There is also a gaucho performance that you may not see in Argentina. I spent an enjoyable evening at this venue with tourists from many different countries.
