Montevideo Winery visit and paired lunch with wines

We will pick you up from the hotel or the Montevideo Port if you are coming in a cruiser. 

We will visit a very old and important winery, where we will walk about the underground cellars escorted by one of the owners of the winery. You will get to know the process of elaboration of red, white and rose wine, as well as the traditional method of production of Champagne Fond de Cave "Methode Champenoise." The visit includes the taste of Extra Brut Champagne Fond de Cave and two red reserve wines with a snack consisting of bread, local cheese and ham. Our next stop will be a very cozy and warm winery nearby. There, you will enjoy a guided visit and wine testing with one of the owners of the family winery. Our host, who is also a sommelier, loves to teach, and you will get to really learn about wines under her guidance. The wine tasting will include the tasting of four different wines with some snacks also.

In all our tours we strive to give you a great experience, with no rush from our side, so you can relax and take all the time you need in each place. On our way back you will enjoy (in case you want) a visit to downtown or we can take you back to your cruiser, or just to relax in your hotel.
