About this activity
Your professional guide will pick you up at your hotel or at a central place in Montpellier. Board your comfortable vehicle and start your 30-minutes drive to the vineyards. Follow the scenic routes and your local guide will talk about the Languedoc region wine history. Once you arrive to the wine estate, he will explain how the wine is produced there in Pic St Loup. Then, you will have the opportunity to have a tasting with different kinds of local wines.
Your next stop is more about enjoying the wine and meet the owner as your guide will take you to his family home. Seat outside near the pleasant garden or in the comfortable leaving room and have an authentic meal made of farm products and cooked by his mother. If there is some time left, you will visit the medieval village for a 10 minutes walk. At the end of the visit, the guide will drive you back to Montpellier.

We had a great day with our guide and two other couples to two wineries in the countryside. Having been to a few wine tours, we still picked up some interesting new information from our guide and tried some terrific wines. Our guide was exceptional, working hard to provide information in two languages equally. He also provided a full/multi-course lunch following. We would recommend for those interested in wine or simply seeing wineries and beautiful countryside!
I can't add much more to what's already been said. This was a wonderful experience. It was 6 guests total with a pick-up in town by Bertrand. He is extremely friendly and clearly loves what he does. We were fortunate enough to see people actually harvesting the grapes, which apparently is a very small window of time. It was extremely informative, entertaining and we would recommend to anyone visiting the area. The lunch was phenomenal! It was exactly how I envisioned it.
This is a fun wine tour. Bertrand keeps it light and entertaining, but also is quite knowledgeable about the area and its wine making history. A nice way to spend a half day.
This was a great tour! Bertrand picked us up, even though we stayed in the suburb of Montpellier, and drow us back home at the end of the tour. Bertrand is very knowledgeable, funny and nice! We had a great time, learned a lot about the wines, wine production and the history of the wine making in Pic St Loup. The lunch at Bertrand's mother's place was just wonderful. This was almost 6 hours tour, with the driving, winetasting, the touring and the lunch. We felt that we really got our moneys worth and then some more! Don't hesitate to book this tour, it's just perfect!
