Great tour. Despite a consistent rain, our tour guide took us through Jewish neighborhoods, sharing the history of Jews in Montreal while we sampled bagels, smoked meat, babka and other delights. Delicious and knowledgeable experience.

Our guide, Allegra, provided a comprehensive overview of Montreal's Jewish immigrant history as well as several delicious stops for tasting food along the way. If you like bagels, sweets and deli food, you will enjoy this tour.

We absolutely loved this tour. Olivia, our tour guide, was so wonderful. She is a great guide and a lovely person. The tour was a great mix of seeing various neighborhoods, walking and eating delicious food. This was a highlight of our trip to Montreal!

Guide Colin was very informative and kept tour moving along. Lots of walking but you see many interesting sights. Be sure to bring an empty stomach since you will be full by the end of the tour.

This trip should not be offered on Shabbos or participants should be warned that some places will be closed. Our guide was very knowledgeable but there were organizational issues. Dessert before mains? Really? And if you want to impress us with Montreal bagels, don't serve them cold and without a shmear. It is A LOT of walking and that should be in your tour description. Our guide did her best to work around the closings, but we felt that we had missed some interesting places. The tour has great potential, but it needs work.

My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour with host, SJ, and gleaned New knowledge of an area, its past and current inhabitants and its incredibly rich ethnic heritage. Come wearing comfy shoes and an appetite!! Well done, SO, and Montral Jewish Museum folks!

Amazing tour. We ate a ridiculous amount of food, saw Montreal cultural icons, and learned about the fascinating history of immigration to the city. What more could you ask for?

Highly recommended. This was a great combination of history, samples of a variety of delicious Jewish foods both old and modern, and a nice interaction with a small group.
