Guide was knowledgeable, but we expected a more in-depth/hands-on experience thru the 3.5 hour tour. Covered a lot of ground - but the 3 stops (N.D.Basilica, a neighborhood food market, and (briefly) Mt. Royal did not provide one with the essence of the rich culture of this city.

The desk staff before and after the tour were not helpful at all, as we needed a ride to an hotel near airport.

We were met from our ship by a shuttle bus and taken to tourist office where we waited about 20 minutes for the rest of the tour party to arrive. After about 15 mins we were told that we had to change our voucher for tickets in the booking office. The tour guide seemed to be enthusiastic about the sites we visited. However he was extremely difficult to understand and therefore we derived very little benefit from his commentary. I might add that I am not hard of hearing. In fact it was a complete waste of time. At the end of the tour we were put on the hop on hop pff bus and went 2 stops to the cruise terminal. We had more information in 10 minutes from that guide than in the previous 2 hours.

We were picked up from hotel in shuttle. After the trip, we were not dropped back to hotel. I kept following up with the crew but they were not able to suggest where and how long we had to wait. I had 2 children 1 infant in stroller and we had to go to our hotel on our own. I will not recommend Viator to any of my friends.

There is honestly not much to see in Montreal, so although this tour was rather uneventful, it does take you to the main sights within 3 hours. It was a perfect end to our cruise through Canada. However, it was stressful because we missed our tour, since there was a temporary cruise terminal where we disembarked from the Maasdam, and we had to take a shuttle to the other pier. But thankfully, we got to the tour office, and they were so nice as to hold onto our luggage and have one of their workers drive us to the tour. That was very special of them to do that, and it made up for us missing the tour in the first place. This company also provides a Hop on Hop Off tour, and I actually recommend that if you don't have baggage, as you can spend time at a couple sites that you want to see.
