• Day 1: Moscow: embark
This city has been the capital of Russia since the late 15th century. There will be an opportunity to see city’s world re- nowned attractions that include the UNESCO World Heritage sites – Kremlin, for example.
• Day 2: Moscow: city tour
Moscow has been developing fast and thus changing greatly during the past decade. The city gained a lot in its beauty and usability.
• Day 3: Moscow: Kremlin tour
The former residence of Russian czars, the Kremlin is an architectural ensemble of unique beauty, which took shape between the 15-th and 20-th centuries.
• Day 4: Uglich: walking city tour
It is one of the oldest, and probably one of the most beloved Russian towns, and a place of pilgrimage of Russian Czars.

• Day 5: Yaroslavl: city tour
Today the city is an important Volga River port with a population of 600,000 that stretches for 18 miles on both its banks. The city was founded in the 11th century by legendary Prince Yaroslav the Wise.
• Day 6: Goritsy: bus trip
While touring here, visitors seem to forget reality under the influence of the medieval atmosphere of this town. It is the place of deep spiritual life of monks and of numerous ancient monasteries.
• Day 7: Khizhi: walking tour
The island of Kizhi is an architectural gem within Lake Onega, the second largest lake in Europe. It is famous for its splendid Northern nature and for 18th century wood en buildings, restored to their original state.
• Day 8: Mandrogi, typical Russian village: local villages, crafts & BBQ for lunch
This small river village with ginger-bread houses is a living fairy tale. Destroyed during WWII, Mandrogi was restored to its former glory at the end of the 20th century. Today this cozy little toy-like village is a pearl!
• Day 9: St Petersburg: city tour
This extraordinary city, founded by Peter the Great in 1703, is the highlight of your Russian River adventure.
• Day 10: St Petersburg: Hermitage tour
This morning, visit the many wonders of the elegant Winter Palace, which today houses the Hermitage Museum, one of the largest art and cultural museums in the world.
• Day 11: St Petersburg: time on your own or optional tours
There is a lot to be done on your own in St. Petersburg. Lots of fine restaurants, lovely streets, many flea markets with noteworthy souvenirs, boat excursions along water channels of the city – these are just a few things to experience on your own.
• Day 12: St Petersburg: disembark
Time to bid farewell to your new friends and the elegant city of St. Petersburg. Disembarkation.
